DAY 1 | Sniper Stalking — Part 2

The second half of Day 1 shifted toward observation, range estimation, movement, and fieldcraft.

Students were introduced to sniper measurement constants, using known dimensions of personnel and vehicles as reference points for estimating distance. Students measured Andrew and a vehicle, then estimated distance with the naked eye and confirmed their estimates using the mil relation formula. The exercise was conducted at distances ranging from 100 to 1,000 yards.

Students then moved into instruction on sniper movement and hide sites, covering the theory behind selecting positions, remaining undetected, and utilizing terrain and concealment during reconnaissance and observation.

The day concluded with a mock FTX stalking exercise. Students had to navigate through the desert to a designated point, locate the objective, gather intelligence, and then identify and engage the opposing force.

The goal was to bring classroom skills and range together in a practical field environment.

Research and development on a new blade design that requires a high degree of precision! So some belt sander modifications and tooling changed and re designs have been implemented.

It's not that hard to make something that cuts. But we want something that fulfills a demand like nothing else.
