NGV x Kérastase Power Talks with Adwoa Aboah reminded me that creative careers are seasonal.

She spoke about moving from modelling into acting ,developing new muscles and being willing to feel unfamiliar and uncomfortable again. She also shared the tension of becoming a mother while wondering what stepping away might mean for her career.

As creatives, we often feel we must constantly create, hustle, grow and be seen. When things get quiet, we question whether we’re doing enough or falling behind.But growth isn’t always constant momentum.

There are seasons of expansion, learning, uncertainty, rest and reinvention. Allowing!
