POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

As the fair comes to a end and life continues to move on I sit here and reflect on the last year I have spent preparing for this week, everyone always says “it takes a village” and this year was nothing short of showing me truly what that meant. Thank you to everyone who reached out, lent a hand, fitters, breeders, buyers my family, anyone who gave me any tips or tricks, everyone who cheered me on, fellow exhibitors and most importantly my dad.

Tonight when I said my final goodbyes and returned home to a empty barn it all really hit me what 4-h is all about, and sometimes the banners and buckles aren’t the most important thing. these 2 steers have taught me some of the greatest life lessons over the last 11 months, there where a lot of days that these 2 tested my limits and if I could really put it into one word what I learned this year I would probably use patience , as a showman, friend and person. there where a lot of days I wanted to throw all my cards on the table and give up, but someone kept pushing me, my dad, no matter what he is always there celebrating the good days and pushing me through the not so easy days, reminding me WHY we do this.
This year things may not have started or ended quite like we had planned but it was something truly special and something that will probably be talked about for years and years to come If there was any advice I could leave anyone that knows Naders story it would for sure be to never lose sight of the goal no matter how impossible it may seem, and to meet all the people you can because you never know when you’ll need a connection.

I just want to say thank you to my sister for everything you have done for me this year, especially with all the jackpot shows and everything you’ve helped me with throughout all the years of 4-H. You have always been willing to help, no matter what, and I know I can always count on you and that you’re only a phone call away. I truly appreciate all the time, effort, support, and advice you have given me over the years. I wouldn’t be where I am today without you, and I’m so lucky to have you by my side through all of it.

Congratulations on your last year of 4-H. It’s honestly hard to believe that this chapter is coming to an end. You have put so much time, love, and dedication into 4-H over the years, and it has been so special getting to watch you grow and accomplish so much. I hope you know how proud I am of you and how much the memories, lessons, and everything you’ve given to 4-H will always mean. While it’s sad to see your last year come around, I couldn’t be more proud of the person you’ve become through this journey. Thank you for always being someone I can look up to and for showing me what dedication and hard work look like. I’m going to miss getting to share these 4-H moments with you, but I know this is only the beginning of all the amazing things ahead for you. Congratulations on an incredible 4-H career, you’ll always have a special place in my heart and in my 4-H memories.
