After Words ep 18 and 19 on Soundcloud - bookmarking escapades on the road including but not limited to:

architectural delights not bound by rigid thinking
swimming in ice cold water
chilling with the homies (family)
wedding of a lifetime !!
synchronicity between US and Aus desert Country
bodega cats <3
freestyle in Peru alive and well
and so on

Ep 18 is fun and groovy with beautiful Eva J, Ep 19 we meander through percussion and dub-like entities ~

When I listen back to these mixes and it reminds me how much music there is in the world and how fucking dope that is, how it becomes a megaphone for personal feeling and expression.
We dance around our hearts.

I love that about it, the way it lets us move through things without needing to make sense of them. Sometimes you just let it play out.

It’s taken me this whole year to learn about rest. To learn about leaving it be. To resist the seemingly inherited, unrelenting urge to repeat cycles and patterns that seem to chase me. I have by no means arrived but I am here for the ride and am absolutely going to let it play it out.

Consider your life. Made up of all these compounding moments of grief, joy, sadness, delight, love, definitely pain - the whole bastion of emotions, circling you like a whirlpool while you’re right in the middle, skidding left and right, taking a chip out of your shin depending on the angle. There is some comfort in the realisation that we’re all on our way. A cool rapture, coming together like a dovetail so precise there’s no need for filler.

~ enjoy the ride ~

anybody who was around me the year before our wedding would’ve heard me prattling on about how “I’m going to photograph my own wedding”. luckily that wasn’t the case and I was busy being present and full of love, and as a result here is a randomized smattering of images I did snap over the 72 hours of celebrating.

There’s being a florist, and then there’s being a florist for the close people in your life. Nature has always been my conduit to tell a story. So to be able to show people’s true nature through a botanical selection that rings true of their love has to be one of the best and most satisfying feelings I’ve ever known. I am forever humbled by deep knowing through creativity. Cora & Charlie. A great love.

Ty to @selashiloni for your eyes.
