🎶Rising up, back on the street. Did my time, took my chances. Went the distance, now I’m back on my feet. Just a man and his will to survive! 🎶 Beyond proud of my Corbin! Let’s talk about rising up! 💪🏼 @corbinwilliamson_

Today marks the one anniversary of the worst day and the best day of my life! My worst fear ever as a mama! But my Corbin survived his accident and has pulled through like a champ! We learned so much from him- to have strength like no other, to keep going even when it hurts, to push through the hardest of days and to live each day like it could be your last! We are so thankful for the prayers that so many prayed and for the genuine love and concern from true friends! I never would have thought after a broken pelvis, 2 broken leg bones, 3 broken ribs, 3 broken back bones, 2 collapsed lungs, and a brain bleed, becoming addicted to the morphine and going through horrific withdrawals, he would ever be the same. Much less, be playing basketball 5 months later and then throwing a javelin like a champ bc he couldn’t throw the football yet. I never thought I’d get to see you having the time of your life at the beach or catching a shark! I’m so thankful for this kid and how he just bounced back. His strong will and LOTS of prayers got him to where he is today! We love you more than there are stars in the sky and can’t wait to see the great things you will do in the future! Because the biggest thing we know in our heart of hearts is that God has a mighty plan for you! Or you wouldn’t be here today for sure!
