Anyone can be a speaker, regardless of background or titles. The format is open — the artist chooses what and how to share.

This week’s speakers:

🥷 Andrew Strokov @core_glitch
Media artist, musician and engineer working with sound, light, sensors, kinetic objects and multichannel systems.
He creates artworks, performs live music sets and develops electronic instruments, including the Microrack modular synthesizer.
He organizes art and technology communities, is a member of F0RTHSPACE hackspace and a resident of Raystate.

🥷 Nikolai Golikov @decaprox
Artist, researcher, and engineer working at the intersection of art, science, and technology. His practice explores the relationships between human beings, nature, and technology, through performances, sound and biosound installations incorporating biometric data, chemical reactions, and living organisms.

Today we visited @cestbilisi and introduced Quray to the students.

We shared a bit about how the instrument came to life, connected it to a modular system, and explored together how movement in the air can become sound.

It’s always touching to watch people experience Quray for the first time: moving their hands, listening, experimenting, and being surprised. At some point, the device stops feeling like a device — and play begins.

Ben, @benwheelermusic thank you so much for the invitation, your attention, and your thoughtful questions. It was a real pleasure to spend time with you and your students.
