Come to thee show on sat to see the evolution of this thing I’ve been marinating in for awhile :)…

The idea for this piece I’m calling “CoreCore (Comfort)” came as an inside joke after breaking my hand while performing “WiseCore” last year...like yea I should make my next dance in a bubble suit obviously but ofc i went deep with it and it’s been a whole ass jOuRnEy into investigating what care/nurturance/balance/support/working within one’s limits feels like…still always trying to find a balance in the everyday ofc but not being able to see my body inside this ridiclous suit is making my movement language much stupider and awesomer I think

Collaborating with @hz_rd on visuals again taking it to a whole new level this time

& stoked to perform alongside all these other legends!

Tomorrow night! As part of SOUL STAKE: Degenerate Art show we bring you BLUE RIDER: Activations in Body & Sound || 3/28 || 7-11pm

Echoing Kandinsky’s vision of art as a synthesis of the senses, where color, sound, and motion converge, BLUE RIDER unfolds as a series of audio/visual physical activations that blur boundaries between audience and artist, body and vibration, and interior and collective space. Sound as gesture. Movement as resonance.

We are thrilled to premiere the beautiful animation by Lily Xie @lolysoups created after Capricious Line by Wassily Kandinsky, the animation featured in the first video, come see it in person tomorrow!!

Throughout the night, artists @ln_celestine @saturn_as_a_girl @ariaztro @ozymandioos Amalia Wilson @jordandealart @core_human_function_ @technoethnic @domi_nic_____ will inhabit and animate space through sonic ritual and durational action. Bodies as conduits, transmitting memory, tension, and release. Those witnessing are participants in this evening of activations, there is no passive viewership while moving in embodied time and space.

Lucky comes easy
Lucky’s not shy
And if you’re lucky
You’ll go for a ride

Next up in our Soul Stake: Degenerate Art Show Programming is BLUE RIDER: Activations in Body & Sound featuring immersive resonance and embodied activations from @core_human_function_ Amalia Wilson @ariaztro @ln_celestine @saturn_as_a_girl @domi_nic_____ @jordandealart @technoethnic @ozymandioos

BLUE RIDER: Activations in Body and Sound draws inspiration from the radical spirit of Der Blaue Reiter, the early 20th-century collective led by Wassily Kandinsky, Franz Marc, and Gabriele Münter. Drawing from their pursuit of the spiritual through abstraction, the night embraces blue as a symbolic frequency of depth and transcendence, and the rider as a force of movement beyond constraint.

Echoing Kandinsky’s vision of art as a synthesis of the senses, where color, sound, and motion converge, BLUE RIDER unfolds as a series of sonic and physical activations that blur boundaries between audience and artist, body and vibration, and interior and collective space. Sound as gesture. Movement as resonance.

ARIES SEASON IS UPON US. SPRING HAS SPRUNG. What do you dream to come after the apocalypse? After the Tower? Who’s fool enough to take lucky for a ride?

𝔗𝔬𝔫𝔦𝔤𝔥𝔱 𝔞𝔱 ℌ𝔬𝔫𝔢𝔶’𝔰

In 11th century Southern Italy, entire villages fell into tarantism, a collective trance where hundreds danced for days without stopping, bodies moving in rhythm until exhaustion broke the spell.

On December 19th, three rising selectors resurrect the ritual at Honey’s. Expect mind-bending beats, hypnotic rhythms, and chants that blur the line between control and release.

Iggy Nuclear makes his NYC debut after tearing through Philadelphia’s underground. Laser-focused technical control meets relentless energy.

Kettle brings his Stop1 philosophy to Honey’s, eclectic, unifying sets that bridge genres, scenes, and the space between afternoon and night.

Dentadura debuts on the NYC circuit with groovy, psychedelic sounds. Soft but sinister. The kind of set that pulls you deeper without you noticing.

Dance until the spell breaks.
