Another incredible CSR volunteer event at Fight2Feed! ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to the 150 amazing volunteers from @coregiving who showed up with positive energy and a true team spirit! 🙌 Together, they filled 600+ pantry bags, prepped vegetables for our Saturday Mission meals and Thanksgiving dinners next month, portioned bulk items for future pantry bags, and organized our donation room to make space for even more future food rescues. 🥕🍽️

Every helping hand makes a difference, and we’re so grateful to Core Giving for helping us fight food insecurity and serve more of our neighbors in need. 💚

In celebration of CoreGiving Day, the @coregiving team found more than one way to show up for River City Food Bank and our neighbors. ❤

Today, their team volunteered at our Arden site, helping prepare for tomorrow’s food distribution. They went above and beyond by also sponsoring today’s Midtown distribution at the Helping Hands level, helping fund the purchase and distribution of healthy, meaningful groceries for anyone in need in Sacramento County.

Between both sites, their funds, time and kindness are helping thousands of households access the nutritious food they deserve. Nourishing children and families together - that’s what this day is all about.

Thank you, CoreGiving, for the many ways you continue to show up for our community!

Interested in getting your organization involved? Volunteer, sponsor a Distribution Day - or do both!
