West Coast Wellness Day - 31 Jan 2026 - So much gratitude

Hello all

I am feeling so blessed and grateful after our wellness day event on Saturday 31 Jan.

It was a beautiful mix of interaction, movement, exploration, connection, heartfulness and groundedness.

Thank you to everyone who participated. If you were not able to attend this time, I have a feeling there will be more.

If you attended the event, you may have heard about the inspiring work that our chosen charity is doing to help school in Dunoon.

Please take a look at the wonderful work that they are doing and if you feel called to contribute in anyway, please make contact with Cindy on 082 839 3123 or khulisaabantwana@gmail.com

Here it is, Mammas... your Lockdown Lite Survival Guide for the Festive Season.

The news of South Africa’s second wave of Covid 19 infections is a lot... tensions are high, people are stressed and exhausted and there’s a lot of pandemic fatigue going on. Things are particularly accentuated because of the Festive Season, a time of year when families are meant to be getting together, unwinding and taking a breath, none of which is happening authentically depending on where you stand with all of it.

If you are a new or expecting mom especially after a year where your whole pregnancy has been unseen, it’s so hard and a lot to deal with and I really feel you. But here are some strategies that can help guide you through this time. Link in bio for full Patreon blog post which can be accessed at $5/ month as well as other content (all Q&A’s about postpartum, motherhood and matrescence, some previous #tuesdaynorms, webinars and blog articles).

Also, I am available for postpartum digital support throughout the festive season. The last slide lists the various channels of support I can offer and if you’re interested in my packages which range from R2000- R5800 please get in touch (these also make great gifts for the new or expecting mom in your life). I also offer ad hoc consults at R400/hr, these are suited to any mother who’s within 1-year post partum and who is struggling. It’s been a helluva year!

New motherhood is lonely as it is, throw in a pandemic and the isolation is too much. What would you add to this list?

Preparing for the journey into motherhood is so much more than just a healthy pregnancy and birth. We need to talk more about healing and recovery postpartum.

We all know about getting the nursery ready, signing up for antenatal classes, researching Doula’s etc. We prep for labour and birth almost as though it were the final destination. We’re encouraged to plan everything BUT our own recovery postpartum.

Pregnancy, labour, postpartum & breastfeeding are very demanding on the body. It is incredibly depleting on our micronutrient stores, has an impact on our organs, urogenital systems & the spine/pelvis.

Yet, new moms are left surprised that their bodies need recovering—often becoming vulnerable to health issues.

Would you agree that pregnancy is a time to prepare a woman emotionally, spiritually and physically for their transformation to motherhood?

One needs months after birth to recover hormonally, emotionally & physically for the long-term.

Motherhood is a process & we need to hear this more.

Tag a pregnant mom below (or yourself!) that needs to hear this!

Friend I see you 👀 I know you might be feeling overwhelmed right now with so much on your plate. The kids running around because school hasn't gotten back to normal just yet. Maybe you have a to do list 3 pages long and your ONE human doing it all!⁣
⁣
Now I know how that feels, 🤯your starting out so you are literally the graphic designer, the content writer, the marketer & CEO... Juggling the task of growing your own business while spending time with family and friends is no easy task! and forget anybody who tells you different! I call BS!!🤓⬇️⁣
⁣
💫The most important thing I want you to remember, something I took way too long to realize is that YOU DON'T NEED TO DO IT ALONE! There is help for you, you just need to accept it!⁣
⁣
The hardest part I think for a women especially is to ask for help, but truth is if you don't ask you don't receive! It is overwhelming in the frontlines doing it alone, I have been there... ⁣
⁣
BUT when I realized that I could ask for help from the people that could actually guide me through the mind fields.. my life & biz changed!⁣
⁣
I became more confident and I felt like I knew I had a plan... a easy to follow step by step strategy to work through a to do list that actually moved my biz forward!💯⁣
⁣
👉 Friend, we all experience overwhelm... but what sets the successful people apart from the rest is the willingness to ask for help in the right places. They turn to coaches, programs and people who can provide a solution! Take a step back and reassess what your next best step is....⁣
⁣
Are you ready to ask for help? So tell us friend, what are you needing help with most RIGHT NOW? ⬇️💁🏼‍♀️⁣
