POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It was a beautiful morning at the Oceanfront celebrating Chris who ran the full Shamrock marathon today in just 3 hours 36 minutes! (I mistakenly put 3:41 in my story. 🤦🏽‍♀️)

His average pace was 8:16 only because his legs were giving out after 20 miles. Do y’all know how long it takes me to run ONE mile?? Muchhhh longer than 8:16. I’m inspired. I’m pumped. And I’m not running no marathon. But I will there cheering him on at his next one, because of course, you know there will be a next one. 🏃🏽🏃🏽

Cool story: I woke up at 6:47 this morning with Hebrews 12:1 on my mind. So I texted Chris the verse and then he sent me a pic of his shirt with THAT scripture on it. 🙌🏽

It was a tough loss but we gotta keep going.

Them - 24 Us - 22

We are a huge sports family. Sports teach so many life lessons like…
✨ getting back up when you get knocked down
✨ prioritizing the team mentality (we over me)
✨ you’re capable of more than you know
✨ tomorrow is coming. Keep moving forward.

This has been the most challenging year of Corey’s life which makes me so excited for what God has in store for him.

What other life lessons did sports teach you?

Ladies and Gentlemen, tonight we will see 12 young men walk across the stage and receive their diplomas. It has been a true pleasure to watch each of them grow as men, friends, believers, students and athletes. There is no doubt each will find success in the future and we will be here to cheer them on in their endeavors. Remember what 1 Peter 2:17 challenges us to do: “Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor.”
#HokaHey Gentlemen, HokaHey 💪🙏💙
