POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
This past year has been a tough journey for everyone. For me sharing my favourite video is also sharing my trials and tribulations in 2021. Boxing helped me overcome a lot, it gave me an outlet and a new spark of excitement. I guess the lesson I learnt is that when life changes and those things you love start to leave, there’s always new things to fill their place. It takes lots of time and lots of patience. Adapt and overcome, one of the hardest and most rewarding things we can learn to do. We need to take the lessons we learn from all the worst nights and push through to better days. This is the sport of boxing to its core. You train, you get your ass kicked, you learn, and you try your best to be the one kicking ass the next fight. That’s all you can ever do. Shortly after joining boxing I got an amazing opportunity to shoot some concept work for a brand in Los Angeles all themed around boxing. In 2022 you’ll see some of this work on packaging and social media, this is a new milestone for me and something I’ve been very excited for. I haven’t felt the need to share, as some things I like to keep to myself, and in 2021 I was very focused on myself and my own mental health. What I felt in my head was a refreshing comparison to the sport of boxing and I was lucky enough to have some amazing people to showcase the hard work and dedication it requires. Big shout out to @thinkblair Thank you for always believing in me and pushing me to do my best work, and giving me a stage to do it @lethbridgeboxingclub thank you for providing an outlet and a family that has helped get me through this year All the amazing fighters who let me film them in the ring and make this content happen. @fullmetal_arcemist (this videos model) @oliver.boxing @the_cooler_dakota @corey_a94 and others not on social You all have been an integral part of my year. In the later months you all helped bring back a spark I was working very hard to see again. I appreciate you all and I can’t wait to see how much farther I can push myself inside the ring and out in 2022. Love and well wishes to everyone tonight and next year.

Canon nFD 28mm 2.8 prime. Big thank you to @metabones for supplying the RF to FD adapter. It was a bit tricky at first to get aperture control working but a few YouTube videos later and I figured it out. I kept it around 2.8 and have been enjoying pulling focus again, something I thought I wouldn’t enjoy after all the years of AF. This was a very last minute shoot, no planning, just grabbed the camera and out the door. Excited to share these next 3 teaser videos for some great guys in the gym. First video drops tonight. Here are some screens with @corey_a94 can’t wait to get a few more sparring sessions in with you bro. This video has me a bit worried 😂 . . . . . #Red #RedKomodo #Boxing #Boxer #LethbridgeBoxing #Ko #Touchgloves #fight #CanonFD #FDCine #K35 #Fitness #Gym #Training #TrainHard #Ringside #WorkHard #FightPass #Reyes #YQL #RedUsers #FightNight #Filmmaker #Calgary #Lethbridge #YYC #Filmmaker #AlbertaBusiness #keepalbertarolling
