Worth Saving was the first song I released under With The Dawn. It came from one question:

If grace is real, could it really be for someone like me?

This song is my search for that answer. 🌅

Hey, I’m Corey 👋

What began as an outlet to help me navigate some difficult seasons of life has grown into With the Dawn—a project shaped by faith, struggle, and hope.

Earlier this year, I started working on an album, and I’m excited to finally start sharing it with you. 🌅

Do you like craft beer? How about live music? Are you looking forward to October? Do you enjoy a good fest? Are you a fan of that Tom Cruise movie about gooses? If your answer is yes, no, or maybe to any of these questions, then you might be a human like me and we should probably celebrate that at the link in my bio.

Flamingo County is out everywhere!!!

What a journey it’s been for this one. I started writing some of these songs almost 5 years ago. Almost 3 years ago, my wife encouraged me to give it my all and go for it. We wrapped tracking a little more than 2 years ago. And now, after all the work behind the scenes, she’s here for you in all her glory.

I’ve been a part of multiple albums and EPs, but this was the first time I took full control of everything and made it happen my way. I’ve never been more proud to share of a collection of songs, and am in love with the pictures / videos that we made to celebrate the music.

A complete team effort was made on this release, and I called on literally my best friends to help bring it to life. Had my guys step up and play the parts I envisioned for them, and I think it added to some beautiful variety throughout the whole album. Much love to:

@brycerivera75 - Co-Producer / Engineering / Mixing

@jessecannon - Mastering

@micahdavidroth - Drums, Pre-Production, Engineering (Radio Clips)

@catfishcallahan - Lead Guitar

@iamnormancollins - Lead Guitar

@maverick_hogan - Lead Guitar

@casey_paul_newton - Bass (His 3 songs are by far the best bass playing on the album…)

@evaneliason - Organ

@gstarrjr - The voice of Flamingo County radio

@sarah_baarns - Photography

@aaronmarshmusic - Videography

@thevanguardroom - Studio

All I can ask is that you give it a listen and share it with your friends. I hope you take all that you can from this one, and I hope it helps you live with that Flamingo County state of mind.

Much love to all

Meet The Band: Corey Clay AKA @iamnormancollins

The first time I saw Corey play guitar I knew right away that I wanted him to play lead for me. Not many others jump around the stage with the same passion and intensity that I do, but Corey truly loves and lives to the fullest when he’s got a guitar in his hands. The perfect blend of shred and soul, he brings everything I wanted to the songs he played on this project, as well as taking our live shows to the next level.

He never holds on to a guitar or pedal for long, as he’s on a constant journey to satisfy every musical itch he has. Talent bursting from every seam of this guy. I’ve been honored to play music with him these last 5 years. Check him out ripping nasty solos all over the album and on stage.

Final pic is to showcase him having the world’s smallest man bun.
