In what could only be described as “Divine Intervention” a man who didn’t know me or know who I was other than being a friend on Facebook through a Corgis Of Houston page reached out to me after reading my post about Rocco’s passing. Glenn messaged me with his phone number and a simple note to call him. I had no idea what to expect but was quickly blown away by an offer he made me. He offered to give us his last male Corgi puppy! Initially he had intended to keep the pup in the family and give him to his father but after telling him our story his Dad suggested offering it to us. Initially we weren’t going to get another pup until sometime next year but when an angel in human form offers you a blessing you take it! Words can’t describe the amount of gratitude we have for Glenn and his act of kindness. He could’ve easily sold the pup for top dollar as both parents are full blooded AKC registered Corgis but instead he chose to “Pay It Forward”. We will love and take care of this dog just as we did Rocco. He will never want for anything as long as we’re around. Welcome to the family Gunner! #Blessed #Corgi #Puppy #Gunner #IGTexas #TexasStyle

The 2019 Corgi Christmas Parade was Fantastic! We had almost 300 corgis that walked in the parade. Fans of all ages screamed their hearts out calling the corgis to come over and chanting "Corgi Nation!" As Mr. Pickles the Corgi lead the way in his red Volkswagen Bus. Congratulations to Benji the Corgi (@benji_lecorgii) on winning "Best Float" (Air Plane float). Many more photos and videos to come!

Note: I will have a Google Drive link with some images of today so those of you who asked can receive some of the files from today. .

It’s with great sadness I write this post but tomorrow will be Rocco’s last day with us in the physical form. The tumor is completely blocking his colon and the stool softener isn’t working anymore either. The vets were shocked that he looked so good for a dog who hasn’t pooped since Saturday. We took him for a nice walk this evening and Ceci bathed him in preparation for his trip to the rainbow bridge. We’ve owned a lot of dogs in our life but by far Rocco has been the closest to us. He filled a hole in our hearts that we never knew existed. People tell us that we saved him but in reality he saved us! If our tears could’ve helped him he would live forever. The hardest day to be a dog owner is the last one! Rest easy sweet boy, Mama and Poppa well be missing you very much. We will celebrate you and keep you in our hearts forever. You were the best “fur son” we could’ve hoped for. You taught us a lifetime of love and lessons. Please send us all your thoughts, prayers and good vibes to help us accept this loss. 🐶🌈 #Rocco #RoccoForever #Corgi #MansBestFriend #UnconditionalLove #FuckCancer

Happy 3rd Birthday Benji (@benji_lecorgii)! The day was filled with pirate themed activities, "Recognize the Paw," musical chairs, dancing and many dog treats/cakes. Here are some sample images that demonstrate the different events throughout the day. More photos coming soon!

Why can't everyday include Corgi races? Missing all the fun that filled yesterday's Corgi Nationals. In the last qualifying race, the first five corgis gave the spectators an exciting time by racing in a photo finish for the last remaining semi final spots.
Note: I am currently working on getting all Corgi owners their requested photos from Corgi Nationals. I will send a Google Drive link as soon as I have them ready.
