Qualche giorno fa siamo stati a Roma, al Corinthia, per una cena da Viride, il ristorante firmato da Carlo Cracco e affidato all’executive chef Alessandro Buffolino.

Interessante la scelta del gruppo alberghiero di puntare anche qui sulla cucina italiana per il suo debutto romano, affidandosi a uno chef che come pochi ha dimostrato di saper interpretare e gestire progetti di ristorazione molto diversi tra loro.
A pochi mesi dall’apertura, Viride mostra già un’identità precisa. Una carta ben costruita, capace di parlare sia agli ospiti dell’hotel sia alla clientela romana, con una proposta gastronomica riconoscibile e mai scontata

A fare la differenza anche la squadra di professionisti riunita da Cracco, che dà al progetto una solidità non così comune nei primi mesi di attività

Una serata in cui arte, bellezza e incontri si sono intrecciati nel cuore di Roma.

“L’arte di incontrarsi”, l’evento dedicato alla pittura di Luca Rubegni, è stato ospitato al Corinthia Rome in collaborazione con la Galleria Francesca Antonini.

Tra la lobby dell’albergo di lusso a Piazza del Parlamento e il ristorante Piazzetta, le opere dell’artista hanno creato un percorso fatto di atmosfere sospese, dettagli da osservare e immagini capaci di lasciare spazio all’interpretazione. Una pittura che invita a fermarsi e a guardare oltre ciò che appare.

La serata è stata anche un’occasione per incontrare l’artista, condividere impressioni e vivere gli spazi del Corinthia Rome in un’atmosfera piacevolmente conviviale, tra un cocktail, una standing dinner e le note di un trio jazz.

Un incontro riuscito tra arte contemporanea, ospitalità e cultura, in una delle cornici più affascinanti del centro di Roma.

33 million people came to Rome for the Holy Year 🇮🇹

It only happens once every 25 years, and the hotels came with it. Fourteen new luxury openings and over 1,500 rooms, putting Rome second in Europe for five-star rooms, just behind London.

Here’s the part most people don’t realize: not one of them is in a new building. Nothing new can be built in the historic centre, so the banks and government offices became the hotels instead. 🏛️

The former Bank of Italy now holds 60 rooms. A palazzo from 1620 looks straight onto the Pantheon. Ten villas sit in a park once reserved for emperors.
