POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
I won’t be able to fit all I want to say in this one post but I’ll try my best. 17 months ago I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Rhabdomyosarcoma. With the tumor starting in my left forearm and moving to my lymph nodes, both femurs, both sides of my pelvis, and my lumbar, I had about a 20% chance to live. I put my faith in God and him alone. God is all I could turn to and I put my full trust and heart into him. I had amazing support along the way as well. Molly, my family, my coaches, my doctors, and my friends. Whether it was sending me a card, calling me, hanging out from a distance, or just simply sending me a text letting me know you care and that you’re praying for me. I’m truly grateful for everyone who’s showed their love and support. Words nor actions can express my gratitude. I am truly blessed to have met amazing people along the way and who have also made this experience a lot easier. There are some who left this world way too early due to this terrible disease. Close friends and people I consider family. Though they’re not here, they have reached their final destination in which we all strive and hope to reach one day and that’s with our Lord and savior. For that I am grateful. With that being said, over 100 chemo treatments along with 6 straight weeks of radiation later, we did it. There’s no evident cancer left in my body. God has opened my eyes to see that there are people who had it worse than me and I felt it was my calling through him to try and make those people feel better or give them hope. I pray I was able to do that for some. I will continue to share my story to others. Inspire them and show them that there’s only one way and that’s through God. Thank you all for your love and support. I’m excited to begin a new and hopefully less hectic chapter in my life. Thank you all❤️
