clue…

this show has been a dream show of mine since i played professor plum in acting 2 my freshman year, and i am so glad i finally got to do it. coming into this, i didn’t know what to expect. it was a new community, new kind of show, and an entirely new atmosphere but, i am happy to have found merely players. yvette was a role both similar to those i’ve played before and nothing like them. the second i read for her in auditions i knew i wanted to play her and make her my own and that is exactly what i did. she is sassy, witty, and entirely her own person and i aspire to have the level of confidence she does. i had so much fun creating her alongside my talented cast mates. i want to thank the clue cast and crew for being so inviting and loving, i had an amazing time playing yvette. from backstage dances, judging kirsten for having her feet out, getting strangled every night and taking an onstage nap after, to all of the lovely people i’ve now made connections with, i will certainly miss clue. i can’t wait to see what my future holds with this community, you’ve all made me feel as though this line was delivered to me instead of me delivering it by welcoming me in and lifting me up: “Bonjour Madame. Pleaze, come in from ze rain” - Yvette🖤🖤
