Went to a costume party in the alley of an art warehouse last night at @bolmstudiosatx to see @atticted play (it’s a hell ride tradition) & then went to @kindatropical where I was asked if I was dressed up like something from Rocky Horror. Hahahah. To be fair by that point I had taken off my cage skirt & helmet but still. Do you not 1927’s German expressionist silent film master piece, bro? The Yucca fries made up for it. I still lov u.

Headed to TX for rehearsals and to lay down final tracks for our Double LP, Cornpone’s Last Stand at Stuart’s Sullivan’s. The album is mixed by @paul.leary and will be released by @australiancattlegod / Eloté Records in 2027. This will be the first time Jarred, Craig, Jennie, Coby and I have all been in the same room with instruments strapped on and sticks and mics in hand in almost 30 years. A lot of people have really been instrumental in this journey and inspired us to get together again. This has gone from discovering our final master tapes (that survived 2 fires and a box headed to the dumpster) to us making the split 7” records and ultimately finding a second lost master tape and expanding our final record into a double LP. More than that though for us actually getting in the room together to play, that wasn’t on the radar. Thanks to all the bands and friends that released records with us, played on the record, mixed, mastered and championed the songs and loved and remembered Spanky.
