Thank you to everyone who joined Cornell NOMAS and Black AAP for our conversation with Georges Clermont! 🖤

We had an amazing turnout and an even better conversation. Georges shared his experiences throughout his career in architecture, reflections from his time at Cornell, and valuable insight on navigating the profession. We’re especially grateful for how open and genuine the conversation was, creating space for students to ask questions, connect, and learn from his journey.

A huge thank you to Georges Clermont for taking the time to return to Cornell and share his knowledge with our community.

Stay tuned, there’s much more to come from Cornell NOMAS this semester!

Thank you to everyone who came to “Hidden in Plain Sight: A Black Mural Tour”🎨♥️🖤💚

From Collegetown to the Southside Community Center, participants explored murals throughout Ithaca while learning about the city’s Black history, community, and intersectional liberation. The afternoon concluded with ice cream, meaningful conversations, and an opportunity to brainstorm ideas for the our very own Black Mural Project!

This event was hosted by Black Arts Collective, in collaboration with the Einhorn Center for Community Engagement, Black Student Empowerment, Black AAP, and Ithaca Murals.
