#Indiana 💛 @pacers captured the @nba Eastern Conference Championship 🏆 for the first time in 25 Years 🔥👏🏾👏🏾 Respect to @nyknicks and their fans, some of whom are dear friends of mine 🫂. For the occasion I dawned the vintage @reggiemillertnt jersey that used to be loose fitting and now is stuck to my skin! Onward to the Finals to face OKC! Salute to @nbaontnt staff for 3 decades of broadcasting 🏀 I watched it from the beginning and loved every moment #AllLove #YesCers #IwillNotStop #OneLove

Fact: I wanted to move to NYC to attend conservatory after high school. My mother made me follow my big sis to @howard1867 and I am FOREVER grateful! ❤️💙👉🏾 Swipe for preview of next month’s turn up at Howard’s 100th Homecoming, also my 20th class reunion!

Howard Fine Arts nurtured and molded me into the woman I am today. It is where I discovered myself as an artist, was introduced to yoga, learned the value of self-care and wellness, African dance, business-show, and SO much more. Howard is where I found love and lifelong community. H-U!!

Last week we laid to rest my beloved Uncle Fred…he was the first person who showed me how to dream big. He was the first entrepreneur that I knew, and had a front row seat to seeing what strength and courage it takes to run a business. I spent many summers of my childhood playing around his 3 Real Estate Offices ( Listner & Williamson Realty- Newark, Irvington & East Orange Nj) as I grew older he showed me how to handle task at the office, I was a quick learner and I loved playing secretary. There were days I would type up apartment listings to send to the #starledgernewspaper, I’d write out rent receipts for tenants that stopped by to pay their rents and I would ride around with him to collect rent. The thing I admired about him most, was no matter how long and busy his days were he always made time for his family…including nieces and nephews. Taking us on vacations, amusement parks, festivals and fairs he did it all. He encouraged my independence and told me I could become whatever I wanted to be because I was smart. Whether I was watching from up close or from far away- I gathered that in order to live the life you truly desire… you have to work hard, you have to help people, and you have to treat your family well. All 3 things I can say that I proudly do. At his funeral person after person spoke so highly of his character, loyalty, determination and kindness. He was a selfless man, he traveled the world with his family, put all three of his children through college debt free. He was a very good man… he was a giving man….his hands were always open either serving or helping anyone in anyway that he could. Everyone who knew him loved him, he will be missed. His legacy will live on 💞 It was an honor to design his funeral program, to speak at his funeral and to help my cousins anyway they needed me over the past few weeks. As you read this post, I pray that you are living a life full of meaning, that you are giving it all that you got while on this side of heaven, don’t just strive to make money, rather focus on leaving a legacy 💞🙏🏾💞 #grateful #thankful #blessed #sowseedsoflove #sowseedsofgrace #helponeanother #havedignityinwhatyoudo #livealifeworthliving

Boyyy we had a time last weekend.

Was so good to reconnect with my #HowardUniversity fam! It was like a mini homecoming.

We won’t talk about the lack of Beyoncé songs at the Racetrack 🙄🤣 but remember that Howard never lost a party and we sure didn’t lose that game. 💙♥️

The Bison herd showed up and showed OUT! And many of us were rocking #KBBxTarget. #LoveToSeeIt
