Pitching lesson with @jellyshonestysanctuary! Focus was on explosiveness and whip to try and maximize velocity while maintaining my mechanics in preparation for my fall season starting up in a couple weeks. Can’t wait to be in the circle again!

Let’s hear it for the class of 2028!!! What a loaded class all over the nation. We are down to two more Top 10 players in the nation according to Line Drive Media Hot 100. Coming in at #5 in the nation is @lambert.softball Junior Middle InF/ OF @paytonyi_softball Payton is a dynamic slapper that can, not only beat you with her speed but also power and mental awareness! Her ability to read a defense and then properly execute at the highest level is uncanny. Her sub 2.7 home to 1st time speaks for itself. This current uncommitted’28 has the ability to play SS, 2B, or any of the OF positions. Her communication, positive outlook, and understanding of all aspects of the game make her a favorite amongst teammates. In our Connect Sports Alliance Fastpitch Open National Championship run, Payton hit 0.531 in 32 at bats with 3 doubles, 6 triples, 1 HR and 15 runs scored! She was also 7 for 7 in SBs (only hindered by hitting too many triples 😎). Congratulations #00 Payton Yi!!

I’m so excited to kick off the fall season with USA Upstate 16U! I’ve put a lot of work in this offseason, and I can’t wait to keep building with this new team. There is so much talent in this group, and I’m excited to see how our hard work, dedication, and passion come together both on and off the field. Looking forward to growing, competing, and making the most of an incredible fall season! ❤️🥎💙 @usa_upstate_softball_academy @usaupstate16u @2daysfaces
