See ya Summer ‘26 🤘🏼 leaving you with 26(!) lessons (without explanation):

1. Do things just because they bring you joy
2. Values > Value
3. Choose your priorities, or they will be chosen for you
4. Constant busy-ness is not the point
5. Emotions are information, not instructions
6. Saying yes is important, so is saying no
7. Whimsy is not childish
8. In a digital era, be out in the world more
9. Nature is healing
10. Play is serious work (don’t neglect it)
11. Your knees hurt because you got lazy (not bc of your age)
12. The people you surround yourself with make or break your life
13. Feeling good > looking good (but both are possible)
14. Don’t forget to enjoy a good life while in the pursuit of a great one
15. Take (at least) one trip for the sole purpose of itching your owncuriosity
16. When something becomes a chore, find the fun in it
17. Saunas are dope
18. Picanha is STILL the best cut of steak (call me or @keith.b19 to make it for you)
19. Make an effort to watch more sunsets
20. Make an effort to catch more sunrises too
21. We are all museums of the things we once loved, and it’s ok if those things are no longer around
22. Doing nothing in good company is better than doing something in bad company
23. Call your parents
24. It’s okay to take a detour
25. Lying to yourself will bite you in the ass
26. Life is meant to be fun; stop overcomplicating it

Stoked for fall weather, pumpkin spice everything, and a couple more killer trips before the end of 2026. See ya soon

From May 2018 to July 2026 I called LA home. It’s been a few weeks since moving back to PA and I still can’t put into words, photos or a post the love I have for this city and these people but here’s a shot.

From moving there without a job but knowing I’d figure it out (it always works out), to living my initial dream of being a publicist, to living my next dream of being a GFM, and all the other dreams my serial hobbyist heart could ever want in between (running a marathon, road cycling, beach tennis, volleyball, paddle boarding, camping, hiking, skiing, you name it) this city gave it all to me, and then some.

I’m so lucky to have met and befriended people that make leaving so hard, even when I know it’s time for the next dream. I’m forever grateful for the lessons learned and adventures had 🩷
