This boat makes me smile every time I drive it. Picked it up July 4th 2024 and have driven the last 2.5 summers. It has been fun updating it, tweaking it, and making it a sound vessel. Is it fast? No. Does it ride smooth? Yes only because it’s slow. Favorite part? I can wear shoes in it and the boat is nice enough to be cool but nice enough to be worried about it. The boat has style in ♠️. For sale right now on the site.

Not just anyone should be sanding your boat.

This 2014 Nautique G23 has a Sublime Green finish that takes a careful, experienced approach. Colors with multiple pigments can be less forgiving than a simple solid finish—and sand through too quickly, and you can permanently change the look of the gelcoat.

Knowing the right process takes years of experience, along with plenty of lessons learned along the way. Every boat and every finish is different. Before trusting someone with yours, ask about their experience with marine gelcoat and challenging colors.

Such a special evening hosting Bill Yeargin and his wonderful family at our Chef’s table at 4Roots. While the world knows Bill as the visionary leader who built Correct Craft into a billion-dollar global marine powerhouse, an NMMA Hall of Famer, and a champion of servant leadership through his philosophy of "Making Life Better," sitting across the table with him reveals what truly sets him apart: his genuine humility, deep curiosity, and warmth. It’s rare to meet an industry titan who listens far more than he speaks and leads with such authentic grace—and an absolute privilege to call him a growing friend.

Metal flake gelcoat takes a careful touch. Less is more: start with the lightest sanding step and move heavier only when needed. Sand through the flake and you can cause “silvering,” turning the flakes bright silver and changing the finish.

On this boat, I wet-sanded the metal flake with 800 grit, then 1000 grit, followed by Mirka Polarshine P45 and Starke Blaze with an Ardex Blue Wall finishing pad.

On the solid green and black areas, I worked through 400, 600, 800 and 1000 grit before polishing with Polarshine P45 and Starke Blaze. Next, we’ll ceramic coat the finished surface.

What a way to start the evening! ✨

From the moment our guests arrived at Chance 2 Dance’s Fall Ball, the energy was incredible.

A huge thank you to Mid Florida Jeep Club @midfloridajeepclub for sponsoring our VIP rides to the event. Our Community Court and Stars of the Ball made quite the entrance! 🚙🩷🩵💛

The Red Carpet Parade, made possible with the support of Correct Craft @correctcraftofficial , was the perfect way to kick off the night. ✨ We took a trip through the decades with fabulous fashion, incredible creativity, and plenty of personality. From one era to the next, our dancers and guests brought their looks to life and absolutely owned that red carpet!

It was such a fun and memorable way to begin a very special evening. We’re still smiling thinking about it! 🥰

Thank you to everyone who helped make the entrance of our VIP guests at Fall Ball so unforgettable!

Stay tuned for more footage of our fabulous inaugural event as we continue to relive every moment!!🪩
