Creating a new story for the minimal Australian bridal wear label @lola.varma @more__Studio crafted a new website, highlighting their Atelier and Flagship Store. The approach for design takes cues from the garments’ subtlety; stripped back graceful forms, with no disguise. Mercure typeface, based on French stone inscriptions, gives an austere yet flowing and warm appeal, much like the gowns of the label. Ten years of Lola Varma, and perhaps what I’m most proud of is what happens here, the atelier, every day. A label created entirely in-house, surrounded by remarkably skilled women who bring each garment to life in our Melbourne atelier. Lauren and I, somewhere amongst it all. 🤍 Photographed by darling @keerahoogendorp

Lola Varma was founded 10 years ago on the creative perspective I developed behind the camera as a photographer. In the lead-up to the launch of our 10-Year Verset Collection, I wanted to revisit some of the moments that have shaped the brand and that I’m incredibly proud of. Stay tuned ✨
