MEET THE CAST ✨🎭

Meet Cortney Scott Wright, playing Jade / Luanne in C⭐NFEDERATES!

Cortney is an actress, singer, and writer originally from Saginaw, Michigan, and a graduate of the University of Michigan. Fountain audiences may remember her from the award-winning production of Joe Turner’s Come and Gone. Most recently, she appeared in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum.

Her screen credits include Unbreak My Heart: The Toni Braxton Story and Game Shakers, and her voice can be heard in commercials and audiobooks ranging from sci-fi adventures to children’s stories. She has also written for the popular children’s series Blippi and Meekah.

We’re thrilled to welcome Cortney back to the Fountain stage in Dominique Morisseau’s C⭐NFEDERATES.

There is nothing like watching #amidsummernightsdream in mid summer at the beautiful @theatricum_botanicum in LA’s Topanga Canyon! ☺️👍
Our dear friend @cortneyscottwright was terrific as Hippolyta! The entire cast was tremendous. Go see them if you can! 🎭Theatricum’s 53rd repertory season is in full swing. (Next week we have tix to “Treasure Island”! 😉 🏴‍☠️)

And we are officially open!

I’m beyond grateful to be performing in the first play I’ve ever been in (long before I knew that’s what I wanted to do!)

Still can’t believe I get to share this stage with such talented people.
.
Estreamos oficialmente!

Não tenho palavras pra descrever como é estar fazendo de novo a primeira peça que eu fiz na vida, muito antes de saber que eu seria atriz.

Ainda me beliscando pelo fato de estar dividindo esse palco com tantas pessoas tão talentosas.

Oh my goodness. Where to begin? I was deeply moved and fill to the brim with an overarching sense of joy as I ushered in my 50th year. What a blessing to have such amazing people in my life! A heartfelt thank you to my love for helping create such a memorable day. Thank you Mom for all the prep to make it all look beautiful! Dana for the ridiculously delicious cake. Family who traveled for the special occasion and friends who showed up as always to share their love and kindness with me. It meant the world to have so many people I love in one place! From the bottom of my heart. Thank you! Xoxox
