“THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER!!!” 🤣 And just like that…MY WHOLE HEART MELTED! 🥹💫 There is something truly MAGICAL✨ about watching a room full of kids experience your music for the very first time. No expectations. No filters. Just PURE, UNFILTERED JOY! The dancing, the excitement, the little faces lighting up, and the way they just LET LOOSE when “Rock It Out” started playing?! YOOOOO!!! THIS IS WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT! When we created STARCHILD💫, we wanted to build a universe where kids could feel free to be themselves. To move, to imagine, to dream BIG, and discover that music has the power to make you feel something extraordinary. Watching these kids “ROCK IT OUT”, reminded me that sometimes the most powerful thing music can do is simply make somebody HAPPY. ✨✨✨ No fancy production needed to explain that feeling. No big speech. Just a classroom full of kids reminding us why we create in the first place. Because the REAL magic🪄 isn’t just in the music we make…it’s in what happens when that music reaches YOU!✨ And to the little superstar who shouted, “THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER!” 🤣🌟 Just know you made MY DAY, too!!! Uh…To The Bridge Now! 🎸🚀🧨 Happy Feel Good Friday, Starchild💫 Family!! Starchild💫 Vol. 1 (Streaming NOW Worldwide 🌎) Link in Bio #feelgoodfriday #RockItOut #Starchild #Stardust #kidsmusic

Who better to help a Starchildl discover her musical magic within than the incomparable LAURIE BERKNER, a pioneer in children’s music and education, who has spent decades inspiring young minds to sing, dance, imagine, and BELIEVE in themselves! I first met Laurie at the HBO documentary screening, “Happy and You Know It”. She was so incredibly kind, gracious, and generous with her time and I knew right then that I HAD to collaborate with her someday! And Here We Are! ✨🎶🌟 While writing the song, “Yeah, Yeah, Yeah”, for STARCHILD💫 Vol. 1, I was thinking about those beautifully brilliant, energetic, creative kids who sometimes struggle to find their place. You know, the ones who hear about their potential, but haven’t quite figured out how to unlock it? Yeah, Yeah, Yeah✨😊 Sometimes, all it takes is someone who SEES them. Someone who BELIEVES in them. Someone who puts an instrument in their hands and says, give it a try. And that’s exactly what happens when STARCHILD💫 picks up a bass guitar in her uncle’s studio. She discovers Rhythm. Confidence. Community. But most importantly, she discovers the MUSIC and that stardust magic that was inside her all along! 🪄✨🎸 Because honestly, sometimes, what looks like a little trouble is really a whole lot of untapped MAGIC. It’s not about changing who a child is. It’s about helping them discover who they have the POWER to become. To Laurie, thank you for sharing your magic with me and helping bring Starchild’s💫 beautiful story to life! Here’s to the dreamers, the wigglers, the noise makers, and every little superstar still searching for their rhythm! Follow the rhythm, you’ve got the music in YOU! YOU CAN MAKE THE WHOLE WORLD SING!🎵🎤✨ Starchild💫 Vol. 1 (Streaming NOW Worldwide🌏 #fyp #starchild #stardust #magic #music

Mirror Work is still WORKIN’ Here’s a GOOD OL’ VIDEO RECAP of Mirror Work! ISSA SWIPE!!! With a paper, a tune and a mirror, I facilitated a night where we sang, body rolled, shouted, and laughed ourselves into a safe communal healing - into a space where we could let our child-like whimsy fly - into JOY & FREEDOM! S1 -2: “Melodies from Heaven” @Kirkfranklin S3- 4: “Mirror” by Britton Sting feat. @nikatknightt and @candycornball S5- 6: “I Found Myself” By @durandbernarr feat. @heybluboy S7-9 “You Are So Beautiful” Ministered ft. S19: Dear Shaq Video S20: K. Ferg’s Words of Recap ON THE REALEST NOTE… This was a show for all people pleasers, all the perfectionists, and all the pessimists to rewire themselves with accountability, affirmation and imagination and the sound of sniffles showed me there was a SHIFT. So glad God chose me to be the vessel! Drop a 🪞emoji if you want this show to COME BACK! #fyp #livemusic #tedxtalk #shaqhester @greenroom42 recap

There is something extraordinary about the power of music. Some music entertains. Some music inspires. Some music HEALS. It can reach places that words cannot. It can bring light into our darkest moments, turn pain into purpose, transform silence into celebration, and remind us of the joy we sometimes forget we deserve. Music has a way of finding us exactly where we are and reminding us that we are not alone. When we created Starchild Vol. 1, we wanted to build more than an album. We wanted to create a universe where imagination has no limits, where differences are celebrated, where every child feels seen, and where the music becomes a reminder that you don’t have to search the universe to discover your magic. It’s already within you. Through funk, hip-hop, storytelling, and a whole lot of stardust, Starchild takes us on a journey of self-discovery. But beneath the rhythms, melodies, and cosmic adventures lives something deeply human: the DESIRE to belong, the COURAGE to believe in ourselves, and the HEALING that happens when we discover the beauty of who we truly are. And perhaps that’s the greatest gift music gives us. It doesn’t always change the world around us, but it can change how we see ourselves within it. This album was brought to life by an extraordinary village of musicians, creators, family, and friends who poured their hearts, talents, and love into every note. From legendary voices to the beautiful voices of children, every contribution became part of something greater than any one of us. Because music is CONNECTION. Music is COMMUNITY . Music is LOVE. And sometimes, music is the very thing that helps us find our way back to ourselves. ✨✨✨✨ Special Thanks:💫 @wgerard211 @alexpsaroudakismastering @incrediblelago @ericjracy @aizabby @bootsy_collins @laurieberknerband DVR Band:🎸🥁 @granvillemullingsjr @cory_stringz My Team: ❤️‍🩹 @amyjane_s @thrivewithvizion @mayersconsulting @lot726designgroup @_antoniodean

THE MIRROR WORK we did at @thegreenroom42 was SOUL-SHIFTING! I asked everybody to take out their mirrors or selfie mode phones and heal their inner child. We looked at our reflection & said: “you are the light. you are safe to be you. no masks required. No identity costume. Little me, you’re worthy. Little me, you have always been everything.” Coming from a traumatic childhood full of a lot of bullying, shapeshifting and misunderstanding, I can’t even begin to tell you how HEALING this was! Special shout out to @bryjacobi and @lmarcomusic 🫶🏾🪞🫶🏾 Need some healing?! REPLAY the video and repeat these affirmations to your younger self too! #mirrorwork #music #shaqhester @thegreenroom42
