My first time traveling to Colombia was last October and my heart is STILL FULL!!!

We started in Barranquilla to look at wedding venues and I got to meet Nick’s amazing grandparents for the first time and some other family/friends 💚💚

Then we headed over to the Tayrona area for our yoga retreat with @ashlynbugbee. during this time we got to learn about the Kogi tribe & see their village and how they live off the land. They held a ceramony for us and asked for permission for us to be on this land. The tribes of the Sierra Nevada region are some of the only tribes in the world to live peacefully and never have a war with each other or turn to violence. they represent peace, love and harmony.

We also had two different opportunities to give back to the communities around us (& if you know me this is one of the most important parts of traveling for me)

Then we headed off to minca to explore the beautiful rainforest and waterfalls. We were also lucky enough to be invited into a wiwa’s (another tribe similar to the kogi) home and property, this was truly an honor they do not talk much or socialize with people outside their tribe. He made us agua panella and played the flute for us.. truly a breathtaking experience.

This week in Colombia felt like a reset I did not know I needed.

Every day was a blend of movement, connection, culture, and so much presence.

We started our mornings with yoga and meditation, slowing down, breathing deeper, and creating peace. From there, we explored the beauty of Tayrona National Park, hiked through the jungle, swam in the ocean, and connected with sacred grounds.

One of the most meaningful parts of the trip was our time in the Kogi village. Learning their way of life, their values, and the way they honor the land was humbling and eye opening. We also had the honor of sitting in ceremony with a Mamo where we asked permission to be on the land. It was a moment I will carry with me forever.

We spent a day giving back with the @costenosocial , practicing the principles of yoga off the mat and supporting the communities we had the opportunity to connect with. Somewhere in between the hikes, the meals, the conversations, and the quiet moments, we created a little sangha, our retreat family. Community is one of the most powerful parts of retreat because it helps you heal in ways you did not know were possible.

Beyond grateful for Colombia, the people, the practices, and the reminder that connection is always the medicine.

In Colombia’s Heart of the World, our hearts beat as one. Bowing to the sacred lands that held us, and the people that welcomed us with warmth and wisdom that shaped our experience in ways words can’t quite hold.

To each of you who opened your hearts, leaned into the practice, laughed, cried, and allowed yourselves to be truly seen, thank you. You made this retreat feel like a living, breathing altar of connection, contributing to the ever-growing mandala of love and support.

I am continually inspired by the hearts and souls who choose to step into these powerful journeys. It’s a profound privilege to walk beside you as part of the retreat family.

Last week we celebrated Friendsgiving @westandmaincolorado by sharing a delicious meal and spending some time writing cards to those we are grateful for. It was just another reminder of why I love W+M and being a real estate agent.

Reason #101 why I love West + Main! On election night, tucked in the back of a tiny little dive bar in Littleton, you could find a group of West + Main agents chatting loudly, sharing stories, swapping ideas and just enjoying each others company. What was the occasion? We actually really like each other and we do this once a month!! 💙💛🍻
