Closed out the year with some of my favorite humans 🤍✨🕯️ I’m still trying to comprehend just how much happened this past year. 2025 felt like one of the longest years in recent recollection. I started out the first half of the year unemployed, grappling with the challenges of having a mentally ill parent, feeling out of place in my body and stuck in survival mode. 2025 was difficult in many ways; but despite that, love gave me life and carried me through. 2025 gave me the deepest sense of clarity, peace, and connection with my true self, the people I love, and the life I am intentionally creating. In 2025, I fell in love with cultivating a relationship to nature. I grew fond of quiet nooks and places in my neighborhood where I spent a lot of time sitting in silence; I had so much fun getting into camping and road-tripping with Natty; I loved exploring new places by hiking with friends; and I enjoyed the freedom of riding my bike in the city. I celebrated 6 years of love with Natty which feels so darn sweet, prioritized time with family, started a new job as Advocacy Director of a youth-focused nonprofit, deepened existing connections and created new ones, helped my dad study and ace his U.S. citizenship exam, turned 27 and found home in my body, became a U.S. citizen myself after living here for 21 years, decided to commit to being vegan after a year of primarily eating plant based, and so much more. Thank you anyone who was a part of my year, I can’t wait for 2026. 💫
