Happy Birthday @cosiimo !!! 22 years old! July 5! You were born with perfect manners and the social grace of a true gentleman. If you know Cosimo, you know this about him. He will greet you with a hug and make you feel like you’re best friends. What you didn’t know about him: He has perfect pitch and sings better than Justin Bieber. He started talking when he 7 months old, people thought it was wild, his first word was “light”. He was obsessed with legos and built the Death Star at age 7. He is a fantasy football guru. He doesn’t speak ill of people or talk shit, he doesn’t allow it either. He encouraged me to buy F1 tickets, so I did. He doesn’t do drama. He is a pattern maker and designer, he has a studio in my house where he makes his own clothes and suits. He doesn’t fight with his sister, he adores her @tuesdayhansenn. This song, that’s playing by Coconut Records, he used to make me play it in the car on repeat when he was 4, he said it reminded him of Christmas Time. He was born on my dad’s birthday, and he weighed almost 10 pounds! He sees the beauty in people. So if you happen to see him out in the world today, wish him a happy birthday! At one point, I looked around to see everyone asleep, even my mom curled up on the massage table, steady deep breaths - realizing this is the actual goal: a safe place for everyone to truly rest in community. How vulnerable! It’s those wee hours: 3/4am-7am that were nearly mine alone, in which I DJed your peace, your nap. So many friends rolling through in the late night… revolving door of characters, of cultures… And if you haven’t listened to my EP yet, are we even really friends? Are we even really world-building together?
