Some back stage enganΜƒos at Aventura. πŸ˜‚ Some of these artists joined me on stage for the first time ever. Some of them have performed with me dozens of times. Others, like my dearest @robmarielofficial , joined me on stage for the first time in decades. It was magical! Our show at Joe’s Pub on Wednesday, October 21st at 7:00 pm is basically SOLD OUT. There’s only a small handful of tickets left … so please get them know rather than on the day! 🎫🎫🎫 #gratutude #lastweekend #teamwork #backstage #artistssupportingartists

To the music, the windows, the red dresses, the musicians, the shakers suspended in mid-shake, the melodies that meet my mouth as though for the very first time (even if I’ve sung that Leonard Cohen song a million times). To the beautiful absurdity of being alive. Of coming to New York for just one day, over and over, for almost a year now. Which, come to think of it, makes so many days, so many windows, so many mélodies, and a thousand little love affairs with life. To Faena, and its velvet nest of ambrosial sounds and scents. ❀️‍πŸ”₯ Love to life. Always.
