🌕 So Detailed, You Can Almost Touch It! 🖐️

This 174-megapixel photo of the Moon is the result of over 200,000 images taken in a single night — and two years of effort! It was created by astrophotographer Andrew McCarthy and planetary scientist Connor Matherne.

The breathtaking red and gunmetal-blue tones aren’t artificial; they’re the Moon’s real colors, enhanced so our eyes can finally see them. The red areas mark iron and feldspar oxidized by Earth’s oxygen — a cosmic fingerprint left by our own planet. 🌍

The lunar eclipse is more than just an astronomical event — it’s a reminder. The moon never loses its glow, even when covered in shadow. Sometimes life feels the same way: even when hidden, our light is still there, waiting for the right moment to shine again. 🌙💫
