Summer IG Catch-Up Dump: Part 2 😁

Here I am. You're hearing a snippet of a song that was taken from me for 7 years though I owned it outright. I got it back. Living out inner visions, the color that called to me is honey blonde. Sweet golden age of Ever's ascent. The meeting point of licorice Kate Earl stage presence and exiled platinum Earl return ♾️ Follow to see phase 1 white board strategy for letting folks who listen know it's me they hear. Tell me below what your pivot looks like? I take my place in the universe after unlearning the lie that my efforts are futile in the toxic industry terrain. Even #BTS had to take a stance on this feeling. I embrace a new path beyond the gatekeepers. Let's do this together ✨🚀✨🌌

Special shout-out to three queens: @katebeeman for putting me on a plane out of Alaska when I was scared at 17. @corian4 for putting me on a plane to NY when I was scared at 23 and holding my hand into motherhood when I turned my back on the star maker machinery. @cosmickattt for my new crown in this iteration. You ladies have helped me take my path, thank you 🪽💜🪽💜🪽💜🪽

Results are in for my first month as Kate Ever. I had a knot in my stomach since 2008 when told I had to keep my ex husband's name for recognition. He sued me for royalties (and lost) for keeping it. SEO optimization was considered more important than my heart lol. I pressed on making a new world with the name and even dropped my own first name to create a better future for my son, stomach ache and all. When a social media consultant revealed that the internet is better equipped to meet change now, I took the leap, trusting the right ones to stay, or to find me. 100 folks left. 100 and 8 as in ♾️ came thru on my first ever 30 day streak of finding my family out here. Fans came out of the woodworks to offer support, their talents for free in solidarity of this freedom and new use of my voice on my own damn terms. Much to do, my lovelies. My favorite thing, is that I lost two record deals over 1) keeping a pregnancy and 2) being a mom and y'all are here for it. Singing next to toys in my home where I do the peanut butter jelly juggle, day in and day out. You get it! I was a lonely little girl who swore I would be present and available when it came to my babies, and I grew up to keep that promise and broke that cycle of kids coming last. We are going to figure out how I can make a living as an artist where career balances with family. I'm taking courses, working with my lawyer, cooking my project, manifesting miracles, (thank you @tangobirdpublishing) writing the book, my new mobile mic is in the mail, more singing coming. All the things... There is a place for me, just as I am. Meet me here, I'll make space for you too. Thank you stopping by, I love you. I will get better at edits 🤭Special thanks for @legrandtunes and @flared_media for bolstering my confidence to find my voice and built my tool kit on socials♾️💜✨⚡
