Happy World Photography Day to the homies 🎉 📸

Picking up a still camera was the best decision I'd ever made, and one of my favorite things about doing concert photography over the last couple years has been getting to learn from so many talented individuals — I've been extremely lucky to have made friends with a lot of the people listed here, but at the end of the day, I'm genuinely a fan of the work that all of these folks do + am inspired by it every day. Learning photography has been a huge process + I have so many of these people to thank for all the things they've taught me and all the questions they've answered for me, (they know who they are 😂)

This doesn't even scratch the surface of all the lovely people I've been able to befriend/get familiar with thanks to the world of music photography — it would take a hundred posts to name all the names, but just know that I'm grateful for all the photographers I've gotten to shoot with + learn from 🙏

Anyway here are a few of my favorite shots from just a small handful of my favorite photographers in no particular order + if you aren't following any of them, DO IT NOW 😤:

This band put on a spectacular performance last night! From start to finish, they brought the energy and just didn’t quit! I’ve got to shout out my friend @cosmicklover, who was so kind to invite me to come out and shoot the show. She has been an absolute MACHINE capturing Eva Under Fire all across the country these last many weeks. ❤️‍🔥

Quick trip to Milwaukee to check on my friends. Hung out @codyjinks who was super cool and humble. He’s really taken @evaunderfire under his wing on the @5fdp tour. Also let him in on my project and he ran on his bus to give me guitar picks. @evaunderfire you’re killinn’ it!

Seeing everyone's posts from this year's @welcometorockville festival had me revisiting my photos/videos from my time at last year's show + brought back all the withdrawals/post-show blues that I felt around this time last year 😂

The week of Rockville 2025 was both one of the best + worst weeks of my life — the festival itself was easily my favorite moment of last year altogether, but the bookends from before + after the festival were insane, starting w/ my car getting totaled on the way from NC to Florida the day before the festival, then concluding w/ the expected melancholy of coming back home from one of the best concert experiences of my life, then unexpectedly waking up the next morning to the tragic news of the passing of Dropout Kings frontman Adam Ramey. The emotional whiplash I felt within this 6-day timeframe is the most extreme I've ever felt, but I try to focus on all the good things that happened during this time instead of dwelling on the negative

Rockville 2025 was my 1st festival experience + I couldn't have dreamt of a better one — from the wicked heat to the late night Buc-ee's stops at the end of each night, there was never a dull moment + I can't say enough good things about this experience. At my 1st festival, I met my online friends in-person for the 1st time, rode a ferris wheel for the 1st time, subjected my father to more bands than he likely had any interest in, and got to see so many bands whose music has meant so much to me, either for the first time or happily adding another set to the checklist

From up-and-comers like Chained Saint + The Funeral Portrait to longtime favorites like Social Distortion + Good Charlotte, this lineup had it all + I'm so glad I was able to see almost every band I was hoping to within those 4 days. I grew up watching videos of my favorite bands playing to big festival crowds like this, so to finally be in the middle of it all was an indescribable experience — I found myself getting emotional a few times during different sets throughout the week because I was in awe of the fact that I was finally at a show like this + now I can't wait to eventually do it again. If not next year, then definitely 2028🤞👀
