Kickstarter has 6 days to go and I am 56% of the way there! Thanks to everyone who has helped me so far to reach my goal! There is still time to contribute and back the project. I am getting close and time is running out to fund this record. Help me make an album of original music at the link in bio. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/omarruizlopez/omar-ruiz-lopez-makes-a-full-length-album-of-original-music This clip is from a live show on 3/8/26 from @artscenterlive in Carrboro, NC. I had a lot of fun getting together a bunch of material w this crew, and am grateful to them for bringing this song to life. Band: Omar Ruiz-Lopez @sinxbass @rileycalcagno @courtneyallenc @joewesterlund Video by @cotafloata5 thanks for filming! #folk #guitar #latinamericanartist #banjo #livemusic

HOW IT STARTED vs HOW IT’S GOING. Since we first launched this campaign and had our first field organizing summit (s/o to Elaine Berry, Erica McAdoo White, Cindy Wright, and the powerhouse Alamance organizing team), we have had conversations at the doors of thousands of Chapel Hill & Carrboro voters with an ever-expanding crew of volunteers and field-organizers, canvassing every weekend and then some.  This weekend, 5 months before the election, we had around 20 masked-up folks doing the work. The team keeps growing. We keep having fun. We hope to see y’all in the New Year!
