— Art direction and design for “Ριζικό Φαντασιακό / Radical Imaginary” from @coti_kappa, Yiagos Hairetis and Panos Katsikiotis Tsiko.

Borrowing the title from Greek-French philosopher Cornelius Castoriadis, the three artists met in Anogia, Crete to imagine and invent a new music that stems from the meeting of their different origins. With a common willingness to explore, they let the natural acoustics of the Cultural Centre of Anogeia guide them into a blend of Cretan sound colors with minimalist and post-rock forms.

Label: Same Difference Music • Composition: Yiagos Hairetis, Coti K., Panos Katsikiotis Tsiko • Production, Recording, Mixing, Mastering: Coti K. • Recorded at Polikentro Anogeia, Rethimnon • Photography: Yiagos Hairetis, Coti K., Panos Katsikiotis Tsiko • Art direction, Design: @overpagejo

Panouklia Eleni, mnemonic garden, 2025
Short film | projection, sound | duration 10’03’’

In the film mnemonic garden (2025), the artist appears before a pile of food waste, collecting, isolating, caring for, and classifying seeds from fruits she searches for among dirty papers and decaying organic matter. The remnants of fruits tasted both by herself and by participants in a series of actions she has developed in recent years under the general title Mnemonic Garden have formed an informal diary of mnemonic traces — an ever-expanding archive.
Through these actions, the artist investigates the kind of experience that might negate the cultural amnesia about ecology and sustainability and speak about social and environmental justice. Could the mnemonic trace of this experience for each individual be captured and recorded in a fruit pit-remnant? Could this constitute not only the basis of our nutritional and ecological salvation but also a poetic means of asserting ethical, just, and sustainable coexistence, so that the garden created may become a common ground?
In the film, however, the seeds are still dormant. The conditions in Nature do not allow for sowing. But the artist insists: she collects, cares for, prepares, and shares. She proposes a collective, slow, ritualistic, primal care for the planet, refusing to succumb to its agonizing and violent “rescue.” She searches for fertile ground where the seeds may eventually bear fruit.

Next stops: Paris & St Pölten ✨

Tonight and tomorrow, Dance On Ensemble presents MELLOWING at the iconic Carreau du Temple.

This 19th-century covered market in Paris’s 3rd arrondissement was saved from demolition thanks to a citizens’ movement. Reopened in 2014, it now serves as a vibrant cultural and sports venue, offering a rich and varied artistic programme with both major highlights and regular events.
📍 17 & 18 March, 7.30pm | MELLOWING @lecarreaudutemple

We then head to St Pölten, where the Festspielhaus itself becomes the stage — transforming into a dynamic hub for contemporary dance, talks and workshops.

Under the theme “Gemeinsinn” (community spirit), the festival centres on solidarity and collective action, creating space for encounters, exchange and the shared celebration of togetherness.
📍 21 March, 10.15am–12pm | Open workshop with Jone San Martin
📍 21 March, 1–4pm | Talk Marathon “Community Spirit” featuring Madeline Ritter, among others
📍 21 March, 5pm | MELLOWING, Großer Saal @festspielhaus.at

All part of Dance On Ensemble’s 10th anniversary celebrations 🎉
