Well… this was overdue!

Our outdoor setting itself is still going strong, but the cushions have definitely seen better days.

@couchcoats gave them a very easy little makeover with covers that fit straight over the existing cushions, and, most importantly in this house, they can go in the wash.

I actually have two sets, which turns out to be the perfect system: one on the couch, one in the wash.

I’ve tried both their Original range and the waterproof Performance+ range, and I think the Performance+ might be my pick for this outdoor area, being waterproof is a big bonus for a family with kids and pets.

Same furniture. No recovering. And my sad old cushions get to live another day.

Which means the money I’d put aside for a new outdoor setting can now be spent on something else…
Girl math, right? 😝

Apparently Poncho’s decided the couch is actually his. We just pay the mortgage. 😂

At least now it’s protected.

We’ve been using the @couchcoats Couch Throw Protector in Gun Metal Grey and it’s exactly the kind of thing we need in a house with a dog + toddler.

It’s a thick 400gsm bouclé throw that covers the couch in one piece, is machine washable, spill resistant and designed to stand up to claws and everyday chaos. Ours is the Gun Metal Grey and I love that it actually looks like part of the couch rather than a daggy old cover thrown over it.

And because apparently Poncho is an influencer now 🙄😂 you can use PONCHO10 for 10% off CouchCoats.
