Taking a moment today to reflect on the blessings that fill our lives.

This picture is with the members of Kofago Dance Ensemble @kofagodance and Les Ballet National du Senegal. We had an opportunity to watch their rehearsal while in Senegal. It was an AMAZING experience!

Thank you Bakary Fall @bakary_dance for pulling this together for us. Thank you Pape Moussa Sonko @pape_moussa_sonko for allowing this level of access to see your work!

In a world that constantly pushes us to want more, it's important to pause and appreciate what we have. I’m taking this time out to appreciate real authentic connections with people. This is something that I truly don’t take for granted.

Let's cultivate gratitude in our hearts and recognize the beauty in the everyday. Join me in being thankful, and let's spread those vibes through everyone we connect with today. #GratitudeMatters #BeThankful #grateful #gratitude #kevchronicles 📸: @jaa.dyn

Next week, @kofagodance leaves to embark on a new journey that we’ve been working on for quite some time. We will be heading to Senegal to participate NIUN AK YEEN festival to collaborate with the Sunu Percu @sunu.percu Dance Company. I cannot stress how happy I am to be taking this current cast of dancers to Senegal at this particular time. This trip is just the beginning of us celebrating our 5th anniversary, doing what we do. I’d like to thank all of our sponsors in believing in us and our work! I’d like to thank all the dancers who laid the foundation for this current cast to make this trip possible. Infinite gratitude to @bakary_dance & @ife_sekhem for pushing this thing forward! I can’t wait to get there! This is actually about to happen and there’s no way we could be doing what we’re about to do without the support of our families, friends and the community at-large! #kofago #kofagodance #kofagodanceensemble #senegal🇸🇳 #niunakyeen #westsfricandance #higherlevel #dancersofinstagram #kofagoat5 #performingarts

AIRBNB HACK
•
•
This unconventional Airbnb hack has saved me from being catfished by Airbnbs
After going through reviews and trying to find as many online materials as possible to get a good idea of the layout of the booking my last line of defense is checking for photos of the bathroom, usually I go for modern unique looks that dont have a bathtub (bc if I see anything in the grout it will ruin the whole stay).

Watching a child grow into an adult is a very surreal experience. When a child is in your life, you pray that you are living the type of life that sets an example of what they can strive for. I've known @la_coumbsta since she was three years old. Today she turns eighteen. Don't know where the time went between age three to age eighteen, but I'm honored and proud to have been there along the journey. Happy Birthday young lady! Bless up! #family #kevchronicles
