I was not taking any new applications for besties when I met @erinshachory in 2021 but she is now on my shortlist of very favorite people in the entire world. She is a fairy godmother to my daughter @emmapowellwyse and one of my very closest friends and confidants. I look forward to becoming an old lady with this one. Last week we baddies enjoyed back-to-back midweek shows together at @greek_theatre and @thewiltern, forgetting that we are all no longer in our twenties and loving every minute of it. Thank you @soccermommy @sleater_kinney @lizphairofficial @alice_bag @theebikinikill for reminding us of all the work we have yet to do with the time we have left on this planet. 🫶❤️

The coolest person in the room will always be @kimletgordon It was my first time at @sidthecatauditorium and because @sidthecat always puts on the best shows I should have known what a rad venue it would be. Also got to say hi to @realbabydonut on our way in so pretty much my night was perfect ❤️

Missed the Human Made art opening in Hermosa Beach so I had to swing by @notshockboxx in Hermosa Beach before the show closes next weekend. I suggest you do the same. Exactly what my heart and mind needed after watching Alex Pretti get murdered by ICE from multiple angles all morning. I went to see the @jessieaccamando painting and stayed to have some time with every piece. I love the space and all of the work in it. Congratulations to the artists on this show. Jessie, I could look at your painting all day. Thanks for inviting me. 🫶

I got in touch with my inner Elsa ❄️ last night at the Kings vs Ducks preseason game! Stephen and I were given the royal 👑 treatment including hanging in the tunnel and a Zamboni ride! (I was invited and yolo) Thank you @lakingsicecrew You’re the BEST! Super fun seats, too. An amazing game with @kevinfiala22 scoring during overtime. We can walk to the games from our new place and I now know a player’s name or two :) So we’re Kings fans! #emptynesters #lakings #lakingshockey 🖤

Check out all the bands if you don’t know them, yet (We of course also met the sweetest TV Buddha band mom susanhunt6 and (no surprise) became fast friends xx Thank you @sidthecat for another great lineup ♥️ and We loved showing up! Brand Partner at COUNTER. 2025 - Present Consultant at Beautycounter 2017-2024 Hello. I am Chrysta Powell. After the 2016 election I was feeling depleted and felt the need to make some sort of positive change happen in our country. I found Beautycounter through a friend who told me that I would be great at their advocacy work. I was a consultant with Beautycounter until 2024 when the company experienced an unfortunate and untimely end. Fortunately for all of us, the original founder and CEO @greggrenfrew bought back her clean beauty company and has re-launched as @counterbeautyofficial It is clear to me that this is the education-first, transparent, highest performing, clean beauty company that we ALL need right NOW. I’ve posted here 20 fun clean-beauty inspired photos taken in the last 8 year that included beloved friends and family, including a couple absolute ROCKSTARS in the makeup artist space @christy_coleman and @lilly_keys If you don’t know their names, you should. Even more importantly, get to know their stories as badass women in “the industry” 6/25/25 COUNTER. launched and I could not be more excited to be back as a Brand Partner. Although many of you know me to be quite active politically, this work to educate and advocate for cleaner products for EVERYONE is non-partisan. I’m so happy to be back to this work, under the fearless leadership of Gregg Renfrew. And it is so timely as I, once again, find myself driven to make positive change happen in the US. And I do so joyfully. If you are interested in learning more, I am here for you. And thank you to ALL of my friends and family for your support all of these years and for choosing safer. I ❤️ you xxChrysta #counter #greggrenfrew #counterbeauty #cleanbeauty #cleanbeautyproducts #chrystapowell #leadersinclean #resist #leadersincleanbeauty #creativegenius #secondhandproductions #revolution #2ndhandproductions #peacefulprotest
