Got to spend the weekend in Chicago with my kid’s friends. Let me tell you about this group…they are the most respectful, appreciative, responsible and grateful young adults I’ve met. Don’t let the piercings, tattoos, teeth jewels 🤣and hardcore music fool you. They are kind to one another, and to the stranger on the street. I watched them build each other up, wait patiently for each other, pay for each other, give to the unhoused without judgement. All of them come from different backgrounds and have different beliefs- yet love and accept one another. Their friendship and the strait-edge hard core music scene(don’t know what it is-look it up) brought us all together. Thank you for letting me hang with you and for keeping me kinda cool-ish 😎. I love you all.
