$Ray Lankford -187, Cardinals power/speed CF. Only 200 HR/200 SB Cardinal. First batter of 1994, first home run of 1994. Prime stacks with late-’90s NL elite. Lankford bridged St. Louis from early-’90s leadoff havoc to late-’90s middle-order thunder. The skill mix was durable: on-base, lift, and legs that turned gaps into extra bases. His prime landed right as the franchise retooled toward October again. That’s why a 1993 Finest Refractor fits him so well. The parallel that launched the chase era meets a player whose peak value and stadium imprint still read modern, even now. Finest Credibility: • Career .272/.364/.477, wRC+ 123, 238 HR, 258 SB. • 1997 All-Star; peak 5.6 fWAR (1997) and 6.2 (1998). • 228 HR with STL (5th in franchise); 123 HR at Busch II. • Cardinals Hall of Fame inductee (2018). Signature Moments: • Rookie cycle vs Mets (9/15/1991). • First batter of 1994; homered to open MLB’s season (4/3/1994). • Added a 3-run shot the night McGwire hit 62 (9/8/1998). • Busch Stadium II home run record (123). • Homered in his final Busch II at-bat. Off-Field: • Cardinals Hall of Fame red jacket (2018). • Regular Cardinals alumni/community appearances. • Ongoing club honors and speaking events. Rank Lankford among Cardinals CF greats; Edmonds, Flood, Lankford? More underrated peak: 1997 or 1998? #BaseballCards #SportsCards #TheHobby #JunkWaxEra #90sBaseball #ToppsFinest #Refractor #Cardinals #STLCards #RayLankford #PSA #PSA9 #1993Finest #FinestRefractor #BuschStadiumII #CardinalsHOF #20of20Club #200HR200SB$
