Anyone can take cool pictures of cool places.
My job is to recognize what the space is giving me and compose WITH it to make a good picture become extraordinary!

Rather than treating the architecture or a planner’s design as just a backdrop, I’ve trained my eye to use it to build the composition around the couple.

I think:
How can the architecture create depth?
Where does the eye naturally travel?
How can I use the scale of the space to make the couple feel even more significant within it?

The arches now become leading lines.
The symmetry becomes composition.
The repetition creates rhythm.
The light tells me where to place the couple.

When a planner and couple have poured so much thought into creating a beautiful environment, I want that work to do more than sit in the background. I want to incorporate it into the art itself, using every element I can to strengthen the photograph and elevate the final imagery.

Let me reintroduce myself…

Hi, I’m Susana Romo—a Bridal Hair & Makeup Artist, Educator, and Content Creator.

For over 16 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping brides feel confident, beautiful, and like the very best version of themselves on one of the most important days of their lives.

My journey has taken me from weddings across Texas to destination projects in Italy, Paris, and New York Fashion Week. Every experience has shaped the artist I am today.

This past year has been one of the most challenging—and one of the most transformative—chapters of my life. It reminded me that beauty is about so much more than hair and makeup. It’s about helping women feel seen, celebrated, and confident during life’s biggest moments.

As I step into this new season, I’m excited to continue serving brides throughout Texas and destination weddings worldwide, expand into Houston, and help fellow hairstylists grow through my education programs.

I’m also incredibly honored to have been recognized as a Top 100 Special Event Stylist and Top 25 Finalist in the One Shot Hair Awards 2025—a milestone that reminds me that dreams are always worth chasing.

Behind it all is my husband, Samy, whose love and support have been my greatest blessing.

To every bride, student, friend, family member, and vendor who has been part of this journey—thank you. This is only the beginning, and I can’t wait to see what this next chapter brings.

Let’s create something beautiful together. 🤍

A wedding that feels like it belongs in the pages of a European fairytale 🤍

Grand architecture, soft spring blooms, timeless details, and a love story at the center of it all. Every element was thoughtfully curated to create an atmosphere that felt elegant, romantic, and effortlessly refined.

The kind of wedding inspiration that never goes out of style.

Planning a celebration filled with intentional details and timeless imagery? I’d love to tell your story.

A beautiful location is only the beginning.

The magic happens when you know how to use every element- the architecture, the styling, the light, the movement, and the people within the frame- to create an image that feels like it belongs in the pages of a magazine.

This is why I love what I do. Not just taking a photograph, but creating a piece of art.

First time I visited the Louvre, I accidentally found it while wondering Paris. I had just finished my first international engagement shoot and had time to kill. My heart just about jumped out my chest and I just froze standing there...staring at these giant windowed pyramids in awe. I couldn't believe I had found them, walking aimlessly. I knew and promised myself then that I'd be back for the dream shots of a lifetime.

And I couldn't have shared this moment with a more beautiful couple, Marcelina & Maciej. Forever grateful for their kindness and humility. Paris owed us nothing, but I'll 100% be back soon!

Until then, enjoy a small sneak peek into the beauty we created!
