Over the summer our new friends @buickusa brought us in to capture the stunning 2026 Enclave Avenir, in a place that felt like home. Car imagery has a habit of looking the same. Glossy, empty, a little too perfect to believe. We wanted the opposite: warm, refined, and lived-in. A vehicle that feels like it belongs to someone, parked where real life happens, lit by the kind of light you can’t fake. Three weeks from first call to final delivery. One day on set, one mid-century stunner of a home, and a schedule built around chasing that light from morning through golden hour. Photo and video ran side by side all day, so every frame of the stills had a moving counterpart. The result: a full set of imagery, short-form video vignettes, and a long-form loop. Proud of this one. In today’s feast day, I’m grateful for the opportunity we had to produce this documentary for The Augustine Institute on Father Solanus Casey. I first learned about him when I started working for the Archdiocese of Detroit and later attending his beatification and Ford Field. I often think of one of his favorite sayings “Blessed be God in all His designs.” He has been such an inspiration in my life and his words have helped me through some rough patches. Father Solanus, pray for us! Help us abandon ourselves to God’s providence and trust His plans.
