Memories from 12 years ago…Originally posted on FB:

I must brag about my students. Gave formal presentations on service learning projects. Federal Officers sat in on two of the classes-one was from US Courts-another in charge of federal funding. A power-player from the Homeless Coalition came also. We will make changes in what we witnessed at the largest homeless shelter in Ft. Worth, TX. Starting an official club on Trinity Campus to help the homeless. My students are the best! Look around - the homeless population are within your sight. Who will you help today? #homelessandhungry #homelesslivesmatter #homeless #homelessness #studentswork #students #trinityriver #loveothers #makeadifference #giveashit #feedthehomeless #shinethelight 💜

When you love what you do, it doesn’t feel like work. Memories from one of my Service Learning Classes at Trinity River Campus in Ft. Worth, TX. These students worked so hard! See the captions below each picture!
I am still in touch with eight of these class members from this class I taught. Hum. Must be doing something right. When you spread the love, it comes back to you ten-fold every time. Some of these students have graduated and are working in their field of interest. Others are now in higher education. I am so proud of each and every one of them.
