The Story Behind #HennessyNStreetLights - My Tokouas (brothers) lives was taken 2006 & 2009 🕊️🕊️ I continue to do music & tryin to keep my mental above water. Went thru some hurdles over those years til my Big Cuzzo Lil Bo @keepitlittrecords came & grabbed me outta Long Beach / Inglewood (JLuv’s House) & we created #KeepItLittRecords. I moved to Sacramento/ Elk Grove and started a studio, screen printing our own shirts / hoodies & he believed in me like no one else did. We started recording the album #CuppsNGoodBudds that’s was produced by @steelz_official It was Me, Cuzzo Lil Bo, @liljluv2 , @kasivaka , my Cuzzo Low from Redwood City, Benzo, my uso Archie, @team_uso4l1fe Nako @finngruva @gmob.mac @gblue102 @coach_tone1050 @trophiez91.jokesup @steady102live @pookateti @gotime102 @phatboyy100 We didn’t think nothing of it, we just was vibin’ & recordin’. The song was dedicated as a memorial song towards my brothers and our fallen family members and friends. When Blue heard the beat, he said “Teriyaki, I needs this 1 cuh”. @finngruva was singing 2 pitch tones of the chorus and didn’t know which one he wanted to jus use & I told Finn, “Use both em toko”. We didn’t know it was gonna get any plays , we didn’t plan on millions of views & when it did, it shocced me & Blue. 2016 is when @keepitlittrecords passed away & now I’m beyond LOST 💔🕊️. Everytime me& @gblue102 would see each other, we never talked about a music video til a few years after Lil Bo passing on putting the video together…. Then last year, my Tokoua Blue passes on us 💔🕊️❤️‍🩹😢!!!! The reasoning for me to release the Hennessy & StreetLights visuals (Guttah Blue’s Memorial) was to keep not only my Tokouas names alive still but I’m not no different from any other Polynesian kid growing up wit struggles, no silver spoon, opportunities like other kids, not the proper education, lack of a support system but YOU can always change that narrative… 💿: @keepitlittrecords @steelz_official 📽️: @stewyfilms LLPateMan LLMellowTheHoodHorse LLGuttahBlue LL All my fallen family and friends 🤲🏽💔🕊️

Man I am a NOBODY… but c’mon uce @eldertiktok smfh with a platform so BIG, you HAVE TO DO BETTER. I am no ally to Charlie Kirk but with actions like yours? That’s krazy work… I expected this from others but not from a Polynesian.. American Social Media culture is killing brain cells.. #rp @cousinclockit_ #lasvegas #freshprinceftb #charliekirk #utahvalleyuniversity #tufblock

Being a Polynesian kid growing up in Long Beach, Ca was difficult and dangerous cuz we was still finding ourselves ina dominant areas of Blacks, Hispanics and Asians. Pacific Islanders didn’t have to much knowledge on how to navigate in an American lifestyle cuz all we knew was the islands but we tried and figured it out. Years later, who would of known my brother created a Rap group called “Ghetto N Ghutta” with himself “Mellow The HoodHorse, Rasta @jboogmusic Sanga Locco @sangalocco562 NuttCase (Tee Pac @tongan_pac ) & the USO Tiso !!!! My brother loved music and had a vision no one else seen. He was booking studio times, putting shows together and we as Polynesians kids, we didn’t see too much HipHop shows or influence besides @officialbooyaatribe in Carson and CasualTz outta San Mateo wit the Fonuas and Big Bo & Lil Bo Veimau, @biggseff outta EPA, Lil L outta EPA but none from our section so #GnG got created. Being able to receive a Gold Plaque from music shows how much hard work pays off and GOD does believe in his kids n gives those the hardest battles but u gotta see it thru!!!! Blessings and thanx for all the support since the beginning and it’s just the beginning!!!! Jus wanted to share so that my peers and younger generation can see that it can be done and YOU can do it 10000000x better than what I’ve accomplished and WE ARE BEHIND YOU 🇹🇴🇦🇸🇼🇸🇫🇯🌺🇬🇺🇳🇿🇦🇺 P.S. S/O 2 @trippieredd for the real genuine Ofaz (LUV) & my brother @sunny2point0 for being a stand up toko!!!!! 1400 x JOKESUP ENT 4LYFE #TeamIslanders #TeamPoly #PolynesianMusic #PolyHipHop #HipHop #TeamVela #JokesUpEnt #TOKOUSOMOVEMENT #TokoUso #KeepItLittRecords #HushHushRecords
