🚨ARTIST SPOTLIGHT🚨

GROOVERIDER

A true pioneer of jungle and drum & bass and one of the most influential DJs in UK rave history. Starting out in the late ’80s acid house scene, Grooverider quickly became a key figure in the evolution of hardcore, jungle and drum & bass. His legendary residency at Rage at Heaven Nightclub helped shape the sound of early jungle in the UK, while his label Prototype Recordings, founded with Goldie, became a cornerstone of the genre’s darker, futuristic sound.

Across more than three decades behind the decks, Grooverider has played a crucial role in pushing jungle and D&B worldwide, hence why he’s widely respected as one of, if not THE greatest DJs to ever do it and a genuine legend of rave culture.

Catch Grooverider alongside Bladerunner, Doc Scott, Uncle Dugs, Standard Procedure and more at Amnesia House in Coventry on March 28th, link in bio🎫🔗

Some highlights from @godivafestivalofficial on Saturday, with my fave Toddlah and special guest Ali Mish! Incredible first hometown festival for me! We performed a ton of new tunes for the first time and they went down a treat 👀

Big up to every single one of you who came to rave with us at any of my shows last weekend - you made it a weekend to remember!

Sundown clips to follow soon 🖤

Stepping up tonight 9pm on Block Radio we have a true local legend for Cov’s underground dance scene the one and only Phil Evans, known by all as Noizee B. We’ve always admired Noizee’s no nonsense personality and dedication towards promoting raves including the iconic Gammafunkula, Anything Goes and Cov:DNB plus his deep affiliation with Amnesia House.
We asked him to dig a bit deeper into his record collection and pull out some gems for our listeners and that’s exactly what he did. Bumping early 90s house records which set the scene in Coventry many years ago into some real naughty 00’s house grooves.
Absolutely impossible not to dance to this mix so show some love for Noizee B 🙌🏻
