It’s been quite the year! From my first solo exhibition in Florence, IT to another residency and solo show in Guadalajara, MX and returning to Chicago. The time has been filled with great friends new and old (there’s just too many to name and you all know who you are), new experiences, delicious food, painted walls, design projects, tattoos, musical performances, reflection, healing and really just putting one foot in front of the other and moving forward with healthy intent. Per usual thanks to everyone I came in contact with, laughed with, hugged, gave daps to and continue to support me on my journey. I thank you with everything I have and let’s keep it moving forward! Happy New Year! #codak #codaksmith #Happynewyear #life #itkeepsonmoving

Yo… this @covechgo show was wild… I didn’t grow up in Chicago so it’s crazy to see the legendaries pulling up. Happy to be there to connect the dots. Old friends and new old friends. We see you.

Shot on this new lil toy camera I picked up. Clips are giggly and definitely need to not walk so much. But live the lofi feel.

👉🏼Join me THIS SATURDAY November 8th at @gagchicago in Garfield Park, 6-10pm, for opening night of new works from COVE, Josh Grotto, Lily Freemond, Victor Lopez and Ryan K. Ranney!!

I will be spinning some favorite jazzy, international, mysterious and groovy 78rpm records all night, gonna be a party, drinks, probably a fire outside, too, all that

I've seen some of the new collages and paintings for this, definitely plan to come out and see this stuff, just wow, can't wait to paint the air for this shindig
