🌻A SACRIFICE THAT’S WORTH IT EACH DAY OF MY LIFE AND FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE 🌻

As I sit here and reflect on Mother’s Day this year, I look over being a mom for the past 23 almost 24 years. Most of it has been a consistent, helping them grow to become adults, teaching them things, holding their hands, getting them to and from school and making sure they had all their different things they needed. And you really think I am never going to get out of the stage of school or sports or whatever it can be. And it’s not bad. It’s just the reality of being a mom of little ones and doing all the things.

In the past five years, my role has slowly started to change with each kid. Motherhood starts to take on a different look and a different meaning. And it’s not bad, it’s just the way God intended it.
I will always be their mother, and I will always be here to give advice or listen or hold their hand or help them do hard things. Encourage them, give them some real talk, hold them accountable still, and always always always point them to Jesus.

I don’t always do it right. And they don’t always like the things I tell them or say to them. Sometimes it’s none of my business even when my intention is good. But I think all three of my kids can always say I have pointed them to Jesus, their entire life and that I truly only want what is best for them and they are three of the most important people in my life.

Being a mom is one of the greatest gifts I have ever been given. Too many young adults are missing out on this joy and gift, because they’re way too focused on what the world and society tells them they need to be focused on. It’s not always easy and it’s not always beautiful, but I can clearly look back over the past two decades and think how my life is so much better because I have them in my life.

And as Charlie Kirk says,
get married and have babies. It literally gives you such joy and purpose in life. @bloom.and.balance99 @leisacovelli
