New work for The Sunday Times Magazine. I think I hijacked this cover a little.

When @danbiddulph emailed with the story ‘To Do: Scatter Dad’s Ashes’, I couldn’t quite believe it. My dad passed away very unexpectedly last October, and we are heading to Spain to scatter his ashes in just over a week. The subject and timing are uncanny.

And who doesn’t love a junk drawer. We always had one at home, and I’ve carried on the tradition!

Thank you to Mat Gill @danbiddulph and @isabellalexa @thetimes 🙏🏻 for letting me include so many little nods to my dad including a photo of the two of us. Swipe to see close-ups, a different colour way (I preferred the blue) and all the Easter eggs explained.

This became a very special cover for me. My dad would have loved this ❤️

Ben segur que molts heu anat al Parc d’atraccions del Tibidabo i visitat la sala dels miralls, el túnel del terror, el vaixell pirata o el funicular i la resta d’atraccions que té.

Una que recordo que em va encantar quan era nen va ser l’avió vermell que et fa “volar” per sobre Barcelona,aquest inaugurat l’any 1928 sent la tercera atracció més antiga del Parc, precedida per l’Embruixabruixes i seguit de la Talaia.

Enguany és el 125è aniversari del Parc d’atraccions, felicitats!

I’m sure many of you have been to the Tibidabo Amusement Park and visited the hall of mirrors, the tunnel of terror, the pirate ship, the funicular, and the rest of the attractions it has to offer.

One that I remember loving as a kid was the red airplane that makes you “fly” over Barcelona; opened in 1928, it’s the park’s oldest attraction.

This year marks the amusement park’s 125th anniversary—congratulations!
