COMBAT MEDIC TEE For our Combat Medic Tee, we wanted to honour the origins of battlefield medicine by incorporating the heritage of the Knights Hospitaller into the artwork. Founded in Jerusalem during the 11th century, the Hospitallers began as a religious order dedicated to caring for sick and wounded pilgrims. Their hospital became renowned for treating anyone in need, regardless of their background or faith. As conflict spread across the Holy Land, the order evolved into the Knights Hospitaller warriors who fought to defend others while never abandoning their commitment to saving lives. That legacy still echoes through every military medic today. For centuries, medics have stepped into danger armed not to take life, but to preserve it. Running towards casualties under fire, treating the wounded in impossible conditions, and giving others the chance to make it home. At Adversary Apparel, we wanted this design to be more than just another military graphic. We wanted it to serve as a reminder of where that legacy began paying tribute to the Hospitallers and the generations of combat medics who have carried that responsibility ever since.
