Delicious dinner last night inspired by @elizzie_peach who suggested Krad Pa Kao by @dimsimlim . It’s a Thai stir fry often sold at street stalls and can be made with beef, chicken or Pork (most common). It has to be made with Thai basil which I grew a lot of this summer. I worked out last year that you get mature plants much quicker by rooting ready grown basil from supermarkets than by growing from seed. I grew 6 different varieties of basil this year and they are amazing. Back to this dish though 😀. It was aromatic, spicy 🌶️, satisfyingly filling and perfect with a smashed cucumber salad and chilli crisp.

Grab the smashed cucumber salad recipe from my feed and the stir fry from @dimsimlim - I didn’t use yum yum powder which I am guessing is MSG as it has enough going on as it is.
