🌭 43rd Annual Hot Dog Caper! 🌭

Last week, UPD had a great time partnering with our campus community in celebration of Cal Poly Pomona Enterprises’ 43rd Annual 2026 Hot Dog Caper!

Thousands of free hot dogs, snacks, and beverages were served to students, faculty, and staff as Broncos came together for one of Cal Poly Pomona’s favorite traditions.

UPD was honored to support the event by helping provide a safe and welcoming environment while also joining in on the festivities and connecting with our campus community.

Thank you to Cal Poly Pomona Enterprises, our campus partners, and everyone who helped make this year’s Hot Dog Caper another memorable event! 🌭🐎💚💛 #calpolypomona #calpolypomonapolicedepartment

Today, UPD had a blast hanging out with our fellow Broncos at our “Donut Worry” event! We handed out FREE donuts—better known around here as Power Rings—along with prizes, giveaways, and plenty of laughs. 🍩🏆

A huge thank you to our campus partners and Krispy Kreme for helping us keep our Broncos powered up and making today’s event a sweet success!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by, said hello, and grabbed a Power Ring. Remember… Donut Worry, UPD has you covered! 😎🍩🚔

Welcome back, Broncos! 🌟 We’re here to support you every step of the way during Fall 2026. Here’s how we can help:👋

The Bronco Advising Center is @calpolypomona’s general academic advising center. We can provide general academic advising, troubleshoot registration and look into financial aid and account balance questions. Our entire team works very closely with your colleges’ advising centers and the other student services offices.

The BAC is home to the Undeclared and Exploratory Advising, Pre-Health Professional Advising, Graduation Pledge, and early support teams. We also manage CPP Connect, wrangle Billy Chat (our AI text messaging robot), and send out BroncoBytes (the biweekly student newsletter).

We know that the university structure can be confusing, and it’s hard to know where to start when you’re curious about something or have a problem. Our recommendation is this: if you don’t know where to go or who to ask, start with the BAC. We’ll get you an answer or connect you to the team that can help.

We’re available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in-person in the Student Services Building (Building 121) first floor at the blue counter, or via phone, email, Zoom drop-ins or DM. Billy Chat is available 24/7. Feel free to reach out! 💚💛
